Education and Qualifications :
• SEB / ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.
• At least 1-3 Years testing experience in a structured QA/testing organisation, executing system testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing.

• This role is in the Trade Management Utility; a group providing operational support and project change management within WSS for clients on-boarded to the Union platform.
Job Description :
• The Trade Management Utility Test Analyst will join a newly formed testing team.
• Reporting to the Test Leader, the Test Analyst will be responsible for all day-to-day aspects of project testing - planning, design, execution and reporting.
Job Responsibilities :
• Work closely with operations Subject Matter Experts and Business analysts and software developers to develop test cases.
• Produce the system, acceptance, regression test deliverables (test plan, test specification, test scripts, test data etc.) to the agreed time scale, budget and quality.
• Execute system, acceptance, regression test scripts, and follow defect management processes.
• Where scripts are not present or of low quality you would create new ones.
• Maintain test scripts and plans in HP Quality Center.
• Work with 3rd party vendor to maintain automated regression testing scripts.
• Work with system owners to ensure test environments are in the state required for testing to progress.
• Input into the management of defects in line with agreed procedures.
• On smaller projects you will be required to manage the prioritisation and reporting of defects in line with the project test strategy.
• Report test activities on a periodic and ad-hoc basis and provide data to enable progress measurement against plan.
• Provide material for status reports by the Test Lead and the Project Manager (as defined by the project.)
• Attend regular status meetings as required with the testing and project teams.
• Aid the Test Lead and Test Manager in constructing and delivering a high standard testing framework, and take responsibility for implementing quality methods in test deliverables.
• Escalate issues to the Project Manager.
• Coach other team members in testing practice
• Business and Subject Matter Knowledge
• Experience of trade booking flows and processes through Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office.
• Understanding of the transaction life cycle in securities, derivatives, FX, or Money Markets.
