• Good experience in using the requirement and design specifications to define the test strategy and plans.
• Proficient in all aspects of SDLC, software testing, including at least familiarity with automated testing with Win Runner, QTP and other such tools.
• Proficiency in conducting reviews or work products created at various stages of projects.
• Should be highly quality conscious and exposed to established software development quality norms. Awareness of CMM practices will be an advantage.
• Must have excellent communication and technical skills.
• Must be proficient in estimation and project planning and management.
• Should be used to high level of accountability with moderate supervision.

• Relevant certification, e.g., CSTE, ISEB etc will be a strong advantage.
